The Desired Results

When a human mind clearly and continually visualizes an end result, with deep emotion and concentrated intent, then the formatted energy generated is converted into its mass equivalent- (the desired result)

Recipes For Detox Diet Clean Out Your Body

Detoxification is not just for the movie stars who abuse painkillers anymore. New evidence has shown that just about everyone needs detox – not for drug use, but to clean out the colon, blood system, liver, and other organs that have been building up potentially toxic amounts of unhealthy matter over the years. Lots of people are jumping on the detox diet bandwagon, and for good reason, too.

With all the preservatives, hormones, air pollutants, pesticides, and even fat (think fast food) that gets into our bodies every day, it just makes sense to clean the temple from time to time. You wouldn't go without cleaning the house for very long, and you shouldn't go very long without cleaning out the body, either.

Here are three delicious recipes for detox diets. Give them a try if you want to help cleanse your system and/or lose some weight:

1) Veggie Broth

• A head of fresh broccoli

• A cup of fresh spinach leaves

• A of celery

• A pot full of distilled water

Simply cut up the vegetables into very small pieces. Put them in the pot of water, cover, and bring them to a full boil. Then, reduce the heat to a simmer and let all those nutrients seep out of those vegetables into the water. After about thirty minutes, drain the mixture. Discard the vegetables, and drink the broth. Yummy and a good colon cleanser!

2) Tomato-based Hearty Detox Soup

• A pot of purified water

• A head of green cabbage

• Two medium green bell peppers (or one large and one small)

• An onion

• Three stalks of celery

• Three carrots

• One-third to one-half of a pound of fresh or frozen green beans

• One or two cans of diced tomatoes or tomato sauce

Slice the cabbage into strips. Chop the peppers into bite-size pieces or smaller if you prefer. Cut up the onion, celery, and carrots into pieces of the same size. Prepare the green beans.

Some folks will say to ad the ingredients to the water a little at a time, beginning with the "hardest" vegetables first. I find that unnecessary. Just throw all the vegetables into the pot of water, cover, and bring to a boil. Then, lower the heat and allow the soup to simmer for several hours. Enjoy!

3) Lemon and Citrus "Tea" Detox Recipes

Lemon is quickly becoming a popular detox ingredient, probably because of its high citric acid content, vitamin C density, and abundance of bioflavonoids. Besides for all these benefits, there is something that is generally pleasing about the lemon, don't you think? Lemon furniture polish still b rings back childhood memories of helping my mom dust the living room furniture, my dish washing detergent is lemon-scented, and lemonade on a hot day – are you kidding? It gets no better than that.

• A glass of grapefruit juice

• The juice of one large lemon

• Two teaspoons of olive oil

• One to two teaspoons of flax seed oil

• Optional – a clove of crushed garlic

• Optional – split the juices to half a glass of grapefruit and half glass of orange

• A scoop of your favorite protein powder from the nutrition store

Simply combine the above ingredients in your blender and drink. Try to drink it on an empty stomach; perhaps the first thing in the morning, and be prepared to be cleaned out.

Recipes for detox diets are a sure and fast way to help clean your digestive system out as a whole. However, it is important for you to follow the directions carefully and only use for the length of time that is appropriate.

Reversing Diabetes Naturally - A High Fiber Diet Helps -- By Don Penven

All of us can benefit from a high fiber diet-not just those folks with diabetes.
So what is dietary fiber?
Fiber is the part of many plants, nuts and seeds that is not digested by the body. Fiber passes through the stomach, small intestines and the colon and it does not contribute any fats, proteins or carbohydrates.
Dietary fiber is not loaded with vitamins and minerals-so what good is it?
Here's what the world-famous Mayo Clinic has to say, Dietary fiber - found mainly in fruits, vegetables, whole grains and legumes - is probably best known for its ability to prevent or relieve constipation. But fiber can provide other health benefits as well, such as lowering your risk of diabetes and heart disease.
Plant fiber comes in two flavors:
Soluble: Fiber that dissolves in water. It helps to lower cholesterol and glucose (sugar) levels. It can be found in peas, beans, carrots, oats, apples, oranges, and barley.
Insoluble: Fiber that enables movement of food through your digestive system and benefits those struggling with constipation. Good sources of insoluble fiber are wheat bran, whole wheat, some nuts and many vegetables are good sources of insoluble fiber.
The amount of each type of fiber varies in different plant foods. To receive the greatest, overall health benefit, you are challenged to eat a wide variety of fiber-rich foods.
Some benefits of a high-fiber diet:
• Lowing "bad" cholesterol levels in the blood stream. The soluble fiber found in beans, oats, flaxseed and oat bran may help reduce serum cholesterol levels by lowering triglyceride levels. Studies have shown that when you increase fiber consumption in your diet you can reduce hypertension (high blood pressure) and inflammation of the blood vessels, which of course helps to promote a healthy heart.
• Soluble fiber can actually slow the body's absorption of sugar, thus helping control blood sugar levels, which for those people diagnosed with diabetes, will bring down blood sugar levels. Some researchers indicate that a diet including insoluble fiber is known to reduce the risk of developing Type 2 diabetes. Since some research indicates the possibility of genetic influences for becoming diabetic, those people with a family history of diabetes are best advised to take every precautionary step possible to prevent diabetes from even getting started.
• Adopting a high fiber diet is a method many overweight people use as an aid to weight loss. High fiber foods usually are more difficult and time-consuming to chew, and this effect relieves hunger pangs-in other words-high fiber foods gives you a full feeling for a longer time. And most high fiber foods contain a lower level of calories since they contain a much lower energy-source.
It's taking some time for the medical community to accept the fact that the so-called Western Diet is the cause of many of our health problems. But more and more healthcare providers are beginning to get the message. Doctors who are more concerned with healing diabetics-rather than just treating them-are beginning to suggest both additional fiber and an alkaline diet.
Much more information about methods to prevent, and to actually reverse diabetes, may be found on my blog- Reversing Diabetes Naturally. Please take the time to visit with me. A number of the posts on this blog detail how a member of my own family reversed her diabetes diagnosis-and lost over 60 pounds-in less than 6-months. Reversing Diabetes Naturally.

Type 2 Diabetes Diet Soda Warning -- By Collin Camino

All type 2 diabetes diet soda drinkers should be aware of the major damage that diet soda can do to your health. Those who have adopted a diabetic diet will usually try to avoid sugar but this can lead to other complications. Diet soda contains aspartame which can cause cancer, according to The Cancer Research Center of the European Foundation of Oncology and Environmental Sciences in Bologna, Italy. A long-term study to evaluate the potential cancer effects of aspartame demonstrates the chemical sweetener "induces an increase in lymphomas and leukemia in female rats." Nutra Sweet is used in almost all sweeteners today and this can be dangerous to your cells.
This is just one of many studies that should be of major concern to those on a type 2 diabetes diet. All diet sodas are sweetened with aspartame also known as Nutra Sweet and this can be bad news for your DNA. The beta cells of a diabetic is dying in the pancreas. Studies show that a diabetic is aging at a faster rate than the general population. The death of the beta cells is just the beginning; the remain pancreas cells are often damaged causing possible stomach cancer. One of the amazing things of the study is that it showed that a single soda caused the damage to the cells. A previous study also found the formaldehyde breakdown product of Nutra Sweet to be damaging to cellular DNA and that this damage was accumulative. The type of damage was a duplicate of that associated with cancers.
The type 2 diabetic already has cells that are damaged from the diabetes so any product that has been shown to cause cancer this fast should be of serious concern to the diabetic. It must be remembered that artificial sweeteners are not natural. Sugar is a natural product that is converted in the body to carbohydrates. Sugar is the bodies natural way of acquiring energy. A type 2 diabetes diet should be natural and one that emphasizes healing of the pancreas. The death of the pancreas beta cells will result in insulin problems. This will cause circulation problems that can lead to the lose of toes and fingers. Eventually the organs of the body will give out. Recently science has shown that it is possible to heal type 2 diabetes on your own without medication.
