The Desired Results

The Benefits of Becoming a Reiki Master

OK, so you have heard of Reiki, but what exactly is Reiki? If you are like a lot of people, you are in this category. So many have heard of it, but do not know what it is or how it could help them.
Well Reiki is a Japanese form of self-healing and self development. Often times it is categorized under, energy healing or laying on of hands. It is said to have been re-discovered in the early 1900's by a man by the name of Mikao Usui while on a 21 day spiritual retreat in Japan at the top of Mount Kurama.
There are three levels to Reiki. The first level has to do with learning to balance and align yourself, thus allowing the flow of this Divine energy to work with you. The second level has to do with learning to help others with this Divine energy, whether they are right in front of you or on the other side of the planet, distance healing. It is during the second level that you also learn to use this energy for healing past traumas and hurts as well as how to send it into the future for best possible outcomes for all concerned. In this sense, it can be analogous to remote influencing. There is however, an ideal in Reiki to always be kept in mind, "wish harm to none".
Then we come to the third level, also referred to as the Master level. At this level, the student becomes the teacher. As a Reiki Master, you learn how to pass Reiki on to another person. As a Reiki Master, you learn some advanced healing techniques to better assist your clients in their healing process.
All in all this type of energy healing dates as far back as ancient Egypt. It's funny how people think of it as "new age" when the reality is that "conventional" or "Westernized" medicine is the real "new age".
So, what do you get from becoming a Reiki Master? Well, Reiki has been shown to;
• relieve pain and stress
• reduce or eliminate side effects to chemo and other pharmaceuticals
• reduce inflammation
• promotes feelings of peace, relaxation and a deep Spiritual connection
• strengthen the immune system
• can increase energy (shown in some to increase red blood cells)
• can help with insomnia
• it speeds up the healing process
• can lead to clearer thinking
• helps with intuition and inner knowing
• can help with acceptance and letting go
• can help strengthen confidence
• can give a feeling of being connected to ALL beings and the World around us
• can strengthen feelings of compassion, forgiveness and love
• can aid in detoxing
• Used regularly, some have even had miraculous healings or recoveries from all types of diseases and injuries. (although this is not the norm)
Plus as a Reiki Master you could be on your way to a new career as a Reiki Practitioner or even teacher. Reiki is about helping people awaken to their full potential, leading them to leading healthier, happier, more fulfilling lives. So with this in mind, who wouldn't want to become a Reiki Master?
